Established and growing insurance agency is seeking an underwriter with 3-5 years experience to work on an existing book of business, as well as assist in increasing it. Extremely organized; excellent phone skills and customer service mandatory. Strong knowledge of insurance Agency procedures a must. This is an excellent position for a motivated self-starter to increase their knowledge of the insurance business and become part of a world class firm. Will assist in underwriting activities including reviewing and approving policy endorsements and cancellations, processing policy quotations and reviewing policy renewals. Will also build rapport with customer base, maintain a diary of pending items and any other underwriting duties as required.
