Well established mid-sized center city Law Firm is looking for a Document Specialist. The Document Specialist is responsible for all duties associated with the document management of paper and electronic constituent documents in the Resource Development Division. Duties include scanning, filing, archival, retention and disposition of paper. This individual will also develop, manage and maintain the integrity and standards of processes and procedures.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Provide technical litigation document support to attornies

- Expert experience in information management

- Responsible for the management, review, and classification of files. Serve as control point for constituent document submission and classification
- Perform accurate filing files. Undertake quality control review for file disposition. Manage file retention in accordance with outlined policies
- Assist with the management of implementation, upgrades and maintenance as needed
- Undertake or assist with other projects as assigned.
- Must be able to manage thousands of documents in the summation system

- Must understand different legal documents

- Handle the design, setup, tracking, day-to-day management, delivery and quality of scanning, coding, printing, electronic discovery, and trial presentation services
- Communicate with vendors to ensure quality product and competitive price for services
- Handle setup and breakdown of courthouse war rooms
- Provide onsite technical support
· Create presentations using PowerPoint and Trial Director

Requirements

Requirements:

 

- Previous document management experience
- Legal experience
- Must understand legal terminology
- Must be familiar with Summation software, DocuFile & Trial Director

- Must be able to manage thousands of documents in the summation system 
- Must understand different legal documents
- Excellent knowledge of computers
